Chapter 33 Regret Loving You 

“Huh.” Evelyn sneered. “You don’t have to be hypocritical. What do you want to do by calling me?” 

Jerry didn’t answer her. “Where are you now?” 

“Did you let your mother harass my parents again?” 

Jerry was stunned. “What?” 

She had no trust in him at all. “Jerry, I’ve had a crush on you since I was in school. I’ve pursued you for two years and we got married for a year. Even if you don’t love me, it’s our own business. Why do you have to involve my family? Do you have to make me regret loving you with such despicable means?” 

All kinds of deep feelings of the past were now filled with regret. It was absurd that the lovers of the past had turned into enemies.

Thinking of what Evelyn had just said, Jerry directly dialed Nora’s number. “Mom, are you looking for Evelyn’s parents again?” 

Nora admitted it quickly. “Yes. It’s not a good thing that Evelyn stays outside all the time. Although Maura will accompany you, Evelyn is still your wife. If others know it…” 

“Mom!” Jerry interrupted her. “Didn’t I tell you that it’s none of your business?” 

In her impression, her son had never argued with her because of his wife, so Nora was also stunned by him. “I’m doing this for your own good!” 

“For my own good? If you do so, Evelyn wants a divorce even more. If we really get divorced, do you think it’s good?” After saying that, Jerry hung up and threw his phone on the coffee table.

“Jerry, why are you standing here?” Maura just happened to walk in from outside. 

Ever since Evelyn left, she had been always staying with Jerry, like his legal wife.
