Chapter 34 Getting Drunk Late at Night 

After calming herself down, Evelyn left the community. The car that had sent her was still waiting by the side of the road. 

She got in the car with red eyes. It was still carly, and Grace also wanted to come out. They made an appointment to have lunch at a Thai restaurant. 

When Evelyn arrived, she asked the driver to leave. She walked in alone. They didn’t book a private room. So, in the hall, from a distance, she saw Grace in a red knitted dress, looking bright and dazzling. 

“You didn’t go to work today, did you?” Evelyn walked over. 

Grace had already ordered a table of dishes. She smiled at Evelyn and said, “I’m in a bad mood, so I didn’t go.” 

Evelyn said, “You don’t seem like the type to skip work.” Evelyn remembered that although Grace was careless, she was still very strict when it was time to be strict. Grace also studied law and always followed the rules. 

“My department and my job are so lousy. Even if I skip work for a month, no one will know that I’m not here.” Grace couldn’t help rolling her eyes. “I’m here to complain to you today!”

Grace raised her eyebrows and looked at Evelyn. “Why do I feel like you’re acting weird today?” 

Evelyn stopped picking up food with her fork and shook her head with a smile. “You can read my mind as if you are a worm in my body. I can’t hide anything from you.” 

“Even so, I should be the most beautiful worm.” Grace smiled perfunctorily and quickly stopped smiling. “What’s wrong? Did Jerry and Maura cause trouble or did President Lloyd provoke you?” 

“I told my mother about the divorce.”

We won’t go home until we’re drunk!” 

When they came out of the Thai restaurant, it was already two o’clock in the afternoon. Both of them were drunk. They supported each other and walked unsteadily. 

Originally, Evelyn didn’t want to drink too much, but she couldn’t resist Grace’s persuasion. In addition, she was indeed in a bad mood, so she really drank too much. 

Obviously, Grace couldn’t drive like this, and Evelyn was no better than her. Next to the Thai restaurant was a chain KTV in the city. Grace somehow rushed in directly when she saw it. Evelyn wanted to stop her, but it was too late.

boxes of beer.

When Huston heard her soft voice, he immediately frowned. “Did you drink?”

He continued, “Tell me the address and I’ll pick you up.”
