Chapter 16 Force Her 

“Because she can give me everything you can’t,” Jerry declared, his tone filled with conviction. 

Maura came from a humble background, and her ability to read people’s intentions and please them was precisely what Jerry needed. 

Evelyn did her best to maintain her composure. “Regardless, that’s not a reason for you to cheat.” 

Without waiting for his response, she continued, “But I won’t sign this divorce agreement because I’m not happy with the terms.” She bent down and placed the document back on the table. 

As Evelyn wore a thin V-neck shirt, Jerry caught sight of two distinct hickeys adorning the side of her neck. 

He had never slept with her. But she slept with another man?! 

The moment this thought crossed his mind, Jerry’s anger surged with greater intensity than he had anticipated. 

Taking a step forward, he forcefully grabbed Evelyn’s wrist. “You cheated on me with another man?!” 

Evelyn felt the harshness of his grip and struggled desperately. “It’s none of your business!” 

Through clenched teeth, Jerry said, “We haven’t got divorced,

“Jerry, what are you doing?” She stared at him in terror, unaware that her resistance only fueled his desire. 

Jerry reached out to remove Evelyn’s blouse. His eyes darkened. “I didn’t expect you to have such a nice body.” 

Evelyn kicked Jerry wildly and tried to push him away with both hands, but he seemed oblivious to her struggles, showing no intention of stopping. 

“Jerry, you’re insane! Aren’t you afraid that I’ll tell Maura about this?” Evelyn hoped that mentioning Maura would at least restrain him to some extent. 

But Jerry merely smirked and replied, “Well, then she can join us.” 

Shock washed over Evelyn. “You perv!” 

Jerry had no true intention of following through with his words. He said it deliberately to enjoy Evelyn’s shocking expression and fierce struggles, which contrasted starkly with her former gentleness and vulnerability. 

“Evelyn, you’ve always wanted to sleep with me, haven’t you? I’ll grant your wish now.” Jerry relished the feel of her soft body beneath him, pressing his chest against hers. 

Observing her flushed face, Jerry’s imagination ran wild. He couldn’t help but wonder how she would appear in the throes of passion. 

But Evelyn despised the mere thought of it. Even if Huston had also forced her, she would have preferred him over Jerry. The realization that Jerry had shared the same intimacy with Maura made her nauseous. 

It was said that women would develop special feelings for their first man in bed. Now, Evelyn believed it. In this moment, she would have rather had Huston atop her.
