Chapter 5 Forced to A Deal 

Evelyn’s ears turned red, and her voice was barely audible. “Yes.” 

“Your husband cheated on you, and you want revenge on him, right?” 

She hesitated, unsure, before answering, “Yes.” 

“And he never slept with you?” 

“…Yes.” 

The man abruptly rose to his feet, catching her off guard. 

In a few steps he stood before her, gently lifting her chin with his finger. 

“You must know that HM Law Office rarely takes on marriage lawsuits…” His voice was steady and imposing. 

Evelyn looked at him curiously, unsure of what he meant. 

“Such cases are beneath the attention of renowned lawyers, yet other lawyers lack the capability to handle them. And cases like yours hold little profit and value, making them costly endeavors. Do you even have enough money to afford it?” He delivered his words with precision and authority. 

She frowned slightly. Of course she didn’t have that much money. 

She also couldn’t bring herself to borrow money from Grace. 

She was aware that a prolonged lawsuit would mean even more expenses. 

Her mind was in chaos. She felt trapped, with no choice but to accept her fate helplessly. 

The more she dwelled on it, the more her anxiety grew, and despair overwhelmed her. Her eyes started welling up with tears. 

Huston, noticing the tears, loosened his grip slightly and frowned. He had anticipated seeing her cry, but he hadn’t expected her to look so pitiful and… beautiful. 

Now it made sense why she was acting so recklessly the other night. Because her husband had cheated on her. 

Huston caressed her soft lips with his thumb. He recalled that he didn’t kiss her the other night, and his eyes darkened. “I can help you win this case. Is that what you want?” 

Evelyn tilted her head, but she couldn’t evade his gaze. Their eyes met. “And what do you want?” she inquired. 

The corners of Huston’s lips curled up. Moving closer, he caught a whiff of her scent, and his voice dropped to a whisper in her 

ear, “I want you.” 

-He said it calmly, but Evelyn couldn’t help but flush. 

“W–What do you mean?” 

“Well. What do you think you can give me?” 

He was rich and powerful. He had everything. 

The only thing she could give him… was herself. 

Her eyes turned cold. “I can’t give you what you want, Mr. Lloyd.” 

That other night was a mistake. She would not let it happen again. 

But Huston would not let her go so easily. “Even if you had the money, Steve wouldn’t handle your case. I told you, a lawyer can’t get much from your lawsuit. Our lawyers are the best in the industry, and they always have more profitable cases on the market waiting for them.” 

“Are you threatening me?” 

“Just stating the facts.” 

She smiled bitterly. “Mr. Lloyd… With your status, you can sleep with any woman. Why do you have to waste time with a married 

woman like me?” 

“That might be true. But my body says it wants you.” 

“But…I’m not even good at…at sex.” 

“Doesn’t matter. I’ll teach you.” 

Evelyn blushed, feeling both embarrassed and annoyed. “Just let me go.” 

But he leaned closer. His faint fragrance of pine surrounded her, and he breathed softly in her ear. 

Evelyn’s face turned even hotter as she raised her hand, ready to slap him. 

“You perv!” 

Huston was one step faster, grabbing both of her hands and putting them behind her back. 

He turned to open a door beside them, pushing her in. It was a big lounge. 

“Huston, let me go!” 

The man casually took off his tie and threw it aside. Then he unbuttoned the crystal cufflinks of his shirt. His slow movements 

made Evelyn’s heart beat faster. 

“You–you’re a lawyer, and we’re still in your office! I’ll scream!” 

He scoffed. “You can try. We can see if your voice is louder, or if the walls are thicker.” 

He walked up to her and raised her face toward himself. Today she put on light makeup, which made her look more delicate and 

beautiful. 

But he didn’t like her lip gloss. He did not kiss her. Instead, he reached out and tore off her shirt 

The buttons flew off, and Evelyn let out a scream, trying to cover her body. 

He grabbed her hands and held them above her head. 

She struggled, “Huston, I haven’t divorced yet! You can’t do this to me!” 

“Don’t worry, I’ll help you get a divorce.” Huston’s deep eyes lingered on the woman’s delicate skin, “I will make your ex–husband lose everything.” 

Evelyn couldn’t move. She had never thought that she would end up in a situation like this, handing herself over to another man in exchange for revenge on her husband. 

Her hurtful look made Huston’s eyes darken. She seemed to love her husband very much. 

Huston rubbed his hardness against her. She let out a soft cry and looked at him in shock. 

‘Why would this happen?‘ She thought. 

Was it wrong to have fallen in love with Jerry? So she had to get punished like this? 

The more she thought about it, the more sorrow she felt. The only person who reached out to help her was the same devil who was about to ravage her body right now. 

Huston was enjoying himself, until he felt a drop of something hot. 

He looked up and saw Evelyn’s face covered with tears. Her eyes were tightly closed. 

‘Crying again?‘ 

Huston let go of her and walked away. She lost all her strength and slid down the wall to the ground, hugging her knees and crying. 

“Get up.” The man’s cold voice was completely different from the desire he had seconds before. But she ignored him and kept crying. 

Huston had never been patient with women’s tears. But today, he seemed to feel something slightly different than his usual annoyance. 

“Evelyn. Get. Up.”
