Drowing In Mr. Scott's Love novel Chapter 56

Although he was still expressionless, Abby Miller felt that the current Abby Miller was terrifyingly gentle.

It was so unbelievable that he actually cooked brown sugar ginger water in person. It was really unacceptable for people to accept it in a short time!

She stared blankly at Richard Scott. It wasn't until Richard Scott frowned unhappily that she suddenly came to her senses.

Abby Miller quickly sat up and took the hot brown sugar ginger with both hands. She said gratefully, "Thank you."

Richard Scott did not reply. He just sat by the bed and watched her drink the brown sugar ginger water. Then, he took the hot milk from the bedside table and handed it to her.

Under his gaze, Abby Miller quickly drank up all the milk.

"Okay, lie down and have a good rest."

Richard Scott stood up. Before he left with the two cups, he did not forget to remind her.

Abby Miller lay down obediently and covered herself with the quilt.

Richard Scott quickly returned. He closed the door and lay down on the bed.

He still stretched out his arm and held Abby Miller in his arms, but then he pulled up her shirt and gently rubbed her lower abdomen with his big hand.

The big warm hand covered her lower abdomen not long ago. For some reason, it was really useful. Abby Miller felt the cold pain of being twisted together in her stomach, as if the autumn frost had been melted immediately when it met the scorching sun.

Abby Miller felt warm in her heart. This was the first time someone had brought her a warm feeling.

It had been several years since her first period. Every time her stomach hurt, she could only endure it by herself.

Later, after learning some basic knowledge, she began to put a hot water bag on her stomach to relieve the pain.

No one had ever cared about her at this time, let alone rubbing her belly with their hands.

She did not expect Richard Scott, who looked so cold and overbearing, to do such a gentle thing.

Such a sharp-tongued man didn't look that bad!

She slept peacefully all night. The next morning, Abby Miller opened her eyes and Richard Scott was no longer by her pillow.

She put on her clothes and went downstairs. Leo stood in the hall on the first floor. When he saw her coming down, he greeted her and said, "Good morning, Miss Miller."

Abby Miller was shocked for a few seconds. She was really sweating, but she still politely nodded to Leo and said with a smile, "Morning, Leo."

"Miss Miller, Young Master told me that you must finish today's breakfast."

Jack said to Abby Miller with a decent smile.

"What do you mean?"

Abby Miller blinked her eyes and asked in confusion, "What does it mean?"

"Did Mr. Scott ask someone to prepare a large table of breakfast for me to finish?"

Leo did not answer this question. Instead, he smiled and said, "Young Master said that he has asked for leave for you at school. You can rest at home today."

Although his tone was very gentle, Abby Miller seemed to be able to see Richard Scott's cold face through his smile.

She could imagine Richard Scott's tone and expression when he spoke.

This wasn't a discussion, but rather an order that she should obediently obey.

Abby Miller had learned not to resist futilely. Otherwise, she would not only be unable to achieve her goal, but would also be punished cruelly by Richard.

"Thank you, Leo. I see." Abby Miller nodded and said.

Leo led her to the restaurant. Soon, a strong middle-aged maid came over with a tray and placed breakfast in front of her.
