Olivia kicked the door of Tony’s box open, only to find several people in his box. It seemed they were in a meeting. Seeing Olivia come in, they looked blankly.

“What’s up? What do you want?”

Tony didn’t feel surprised. After all, he had seen Olivia be more brutal before.

Olivia tried hard to suppress her anger and put away the knife. Staring at Tony coldly, she asked, “What did you do last night?”

“Mr. Tony was doing the research on the medicine effect with us last night,” one of the men answered on Tony’s half. He cast a gossiping glance at Tony and Olivia.

Olivia was a celebrity and quite famous. She suddenly broke into the box with a knife. They couldn’t help wondering what had happened.

“Was he here the whole night?”

Olivia paused.

It wasn’t until then did Tony find that she didn’t look right.

“Has anything happened? Please wait for me for a moment. Olivia, let’s talk outside.”

Tony stood up and bypassed Olivia.

His body was covered with a strong smell of cigarettes, and Olivia almost sneezed.

She suddenly frowned.

“Why did you smoke so much?”

“Come on, Olivia. I stayed up overnight. What can I do without smoking?”

It wasn’t until then did Olivia notice that Tony’s eyes were bloodshot. There were obvious dark circles under his eyes. Thinking about the man’s answer just now, she frowned deeply.

She realized that the man wasn’t Tony!

Last night, the man was quite clean. He smelt similar to the shower gel that Jacob usually used.

Upon realizing that she thought of Jacob again, Olivia felt more upset.

“May I check the surveillance close to my box, please?”

“Anything happened? Do you need my help?”

Although Tony was so warm-hearted, Olivia refused him directly, “No, thanks.”

“Okay. I’ll call the monitoring room. Please go ahead.”

“Thanks.”

Olivia turned around and left, tossing the knife into a trash can.

Tony felt quite confused. Thinking about his research subject last night, he shook his head, forcing him to sober up. Then he went back to the box and continued working.

Olivia went to the monitoring room and checked the surveillance. However, she didn’t find anything. The video had been deleted.

She felt as if her heart was pressed by something, so depressed.

She didn’t only cheat on Jacob, but she also didn’t know who that man was.

It was so awful!

Olivia couldn’t continue staying in the club any longer. After going back home, she locked herself up in the bathroom. She kept rubbing her body, almost breaking her skin.

On the other side, after Tony got to know she had left, he asked the guard what Olivia had requested to watch. When he heard that part of the video had been deleted, Tony had a bad hunch. Immediately, he asked the technician to recover it, but it didn’t work.

Nicole and Samuel spent a whole day in the automobile factory. They had planned to have dinner together, but Samuel received a call. He looked quite mysterious.

“What happened? Anything urgent?”

“Yeah. Some personal errand. I need to resolve it now.”

Samuel looked at Nicole apologetically.

Nicole said in a gentle tone, “Go ahead, please. I can have dinner alone. I’ll also drop by Olivia’s house to check on her. Jacob’s matter was a big blow to her.”

“Okay.”

Samuel drove Nicole to Olivia’s house, and then he left.

Samuel drove to the entrance of a club in a secret place and parked his car. Then at the door, he pulled out a card. The usher respectfully led him in.

He walked to the innermost box, knocked on it, and entered.

When seeing Emory and Blair, Samuel didn’t look surprised. He sat down casually and poured himself a cup of tea. He asked indifferently, “What has brought you both down here?”

“We’re here to see you.”

Blair was still a sweet talker. It seemed that he hadn’t been impacted by the suppression of Jeffery.

Samuel rolled his eyes on him and looked over at Emory.

“Mr. Emory, is there any mission here?”

“Yeah. I came to pick up someone from here. Then we’ll leave.”

Samuel was a bit startled. However, he wasn’t serving in the military any longer, so he wouldn’t ask any question that he ought not to. He directly asked, “Is it good for me to be here? If not convenient, I’ll leave.”

“You know this person.”

Seeing that Samuel was so obedient now, Blair couldn’t help feeling upset.

They used to be best friends, colleagues that could rely on each other completely. However, for some matters, Samuel had already left them. It made Blair feel quite frustrated.

“Samuel, don’t you really consider coming back?”

“I’ve started transferring my properties overseas. In the future, we can still gather around when we have time.”

Samuel was quite calm.

Their friendship wouldn’t change because of time or distance. However, it was normal for them to feel disappointed for the time being.

Emory nodded and said, “He’s almost here. Let’s take the chance and gather around. We don’t know when exactly we could meet again next time.”

“Who on earth is the person?”

Upon hearing it, Samuel became quite curious.

As they spoke, the door was pushed open. Jacob showed up. Samuel was slightly taken aback. Then he understood something. However, he looked quite solemnly.

Jacob didn’t feel surprised when seeing Samuel here. Seeing him, Jacob stood at attention, saluted, and greeted him, “Hi, Mr. Green.”

“Does Olivia know?”

Samuel gazed at Jacob without a blink, studying his expression.

Jacob looked quite blue and upset, with a trace of determination.

“She’ll know it sooner or later.”

Since he said so, Samuel didn’t want to remind him more.

Emory explained in a steady tone, “Jacob is an outstanding man. When he requested to resign, the leaders all felt quite sorry for that. You both have given up your bright futures for women. A lot of people disdained you for being discouraged. Hence, when you resigned in the past, the leaders still kept your vacancies for you. As long as you want to come back, you can start serving in the military again. This time, after hearing that something has happened to Jacob, Mr. Morty immediately called the military base and asked for Jacob. Hence, he was released this morning. Someone else is dealing with Julissa Caldwell. Jacob is leaving soon. He’s going abroad for peacekeeping missions. He’ll stay there for several years. Hence, I don’t know when you will meet again next time. However, for Jacob, it might be a good thing. I heard he has left all businesses to his ex-wife. Now he doesn’t have any burden from his family. He might have a bright future in his career. Probably in the future, he could have high achievements than you have, Samuel.”

However, Samuel was silent. He stared at Jacob and asked, “When you were released this morning, did you go to see Olivia?”

Upon hearing it, Jacob was a bit taken aback. Soon he lowered his head and whispered, “Mr. Green, if I kept staying here, it would be torture for me and her. When she sees me, she would be in a dilemma whether we break up or not. I’d rather leave here than torturing her so much. As time goes time, she will naturally let go of me. I’ve been a jerk. “Coward!” Samuel uttered a word and stood up to leave.
