Daddy's Love

I wake up really early despite having slept so late last night. I was anxious for my baby girl to wake up. I have checked on her thrice already and she is still asleep. I take my bath quickly and then make breakfast. I make chocolate pancakes. I think it'll comfort her a little.

Fifteen minutes later, pancakes are done. I am off work for thirty days now. That's a paid leave that all Dom’s get when they get themselves a little to get settled in with them. We live in a very small community and I am an architect. Many buildings in here are designed by me. I have been living here since I can remember and this is my life now. This is all I know.
