Savannah's POV

Avan's face changed several times. If it was in the past I would have felt bad for saying harsh words or would get scared seeing his expression. But everything has changed now. He never wanted me as a woman but as a mate to keep his bond to increase his own power and rule the pack. All he could think was his own self. After the harsh betrayal I have come to realise that what I had was not real but a moment of surrealism that blinded me to such an extent where I forgot my own self and forgot how to preserve my own respect.

"What did you say?" Avan asked as his eyes danced with rage. He was glaring at me so hard that it felt like he was about to explode. But I was not that weak Shyla anymore who would give in to him. I am now Savannah, who will crush down every dirty bastard like him.

I smirked "why? Didn't you hear what I said just now? Do you want me to repeat it?" My eyes glanced sideways and found a few people turning their heads and looking at us which made my smirk turn into a grin.

"I must say after staying away from the pack you have got some courage Savannah. Don't forget you still had some connections with Bright Shine and you should know that I, the Alpha of the pack won't tolerate your misbehave" Avan spat angrily. His eyes turned blue. The parents you are indicating are the same couple who threw me in the corner just to make me the substitute of their daughter who was drowning in greed to become your Luna even though she was not your mate. This is what you call MORALITY?" I shouted at my top lungs. Since he wanted everyone to know then I will fucking tell every bit of truth of them, of what they made me go through all these years.
