Emma was sitting right next to David. She was startled by David’s sudden move, and her face turned pale. Emma immediately turned to comfort David, “David, calm down.” 

However, David could not calm down and clenched his fists tightly. 

David wanted to punch Olivia’s face badly. 

David gritted his teeth and said, “It’s fine if you don’t help, but don’t get yourself into trouble! Watch your tone. Otherwise, I beat you!” 

Olivia looked at David and said calmly, “You have great muscles, but sadly, with no brain. Do you find it fun bullying people around with your hard fists?” 

Hearing that, David was stunned. 

An uneasy expression appeared on David’s face, but it was soon covered by hostility. David glared at Olivia and asked, “What are you? How dare you judge me?” 

Olivia pointed to the door and said, “Then get out. The door is over there.” 

Olivia had already known what Emma and David were up to when she heard them talking at the door. 

Olivia did not have to think about it because their purpose was too 

obvious. 

However, Olivia still wanted to give them a chance. 

Olivia had an illusion when she opened the door. At that time, she thought, “They are probably not here to ask me for help.” 

Sadly, an illusion was always an illusion. It was not reality. 

Olivia suddenly felt that life was boring here. She thought, “What’s the point of my staying with the Taylor family these days? What am I expecting? What am I waiting for?

David had nothing to do with Emma’s tears. He asked frustratedly, “Then what should I do?” 

David thought, “I don’t want to go abroad. 

“William says I’ll be there as an exchange student. However, he will take this chance to freeze my bank account.” 

David was bad–tempered but not st* pid. He was not scared of living alone abroad but afraid this trip would be different. He thought, “William will definitely send people to keep an eye on me and won’t give me too much money. 

“This is exactly taking a prison. Of course, I don’t want to go.” 

Olivia turned around to pack her stuff. When she finished packing, she raised her head and found the two still there. 

Olivia raised her eyebrows and put her backpack on her shoulders. 

Olivia was not as delicate as those rich girls because she had little time. She held her suitcase with one hand and grabbed a handbag with the other. For her, convenience went first. That explained why Olivia was a

“What?” Olivia went to Emma and David, who were standing by the door, and said, “Move if you’re not going to leave.” 

Emma focused on talking to David and did not pay attention to Olivia. Until now, Emma noticed Olivia’s dress and realized Olivia was going to leave. Emma asked, “Are you leaving?” 

Olivia nodded. 

Emma got anxious and subconsciously grabbed Olivia’s arm, asking, “What will David do without you?” 

Olivia found it funny and replied, “What does that have anything to do with me?” After that, Olivia quietly tilted to dodge Emma’s grab. 

Emma did not expect Olivia would dodge her. Thus, Emma failed to react and staggered a few steps. David kicked the table into pieces just now. Emma accidentally stepped on them and fell to the ground. Seeing this, David held Emma up with one hand and raised his other hand to slap Olivia in the face, asking, “What did you dodge?” 

At this moment, David glared at Olivia with disgust and hatred. His face turned red, and his chest went up and down due to anger. His voice was cold, as if Olivia had committed heinous crimes. 

A simple movement could show what Olivia was in David’s eyes. He didn’t take Olivia as a family member but as a slave because he could slap, scold, and hit her if he was angry. 

This was obviously not Olivia’s fault but Emma’s carelessness. However, David blamed Olivia for Emma’s falling. 

Olivia was indifferent and did not take David seriously. The moment David raised his hand, Olivia’s eyes suddenly turned cold. 

Olivia thought, “Did he really take me as someone weak?” 

Olivia had always been giving in since she came to the Taylor family. David tried to hit Olivia before, but Olivia chose to dodge. 

This was Olivia’s first time fighting back. 

David had no idea how Olivia moved, but in the blink of an eye, the backpack on Olivia’s shoulder fell into her hand. 

Olivia grabbed the backpack with her left hand and threw it at David. It went straight into David’s face heavily. 

David was shocked.

Olivia seemed to determine whether David did it on purpose or not. The kick did not fall on Olivia. She just stood quietly on the spot and grabbed the backpack to block that kick. 

After that, Olivia raised her hand and threw the backpack on the bed. Then she leaned over to pick up Emma. 

Emma was standing in the corridor before she knew what had happened. 

Emma was left outside. 

Olivia and David were the ones staying in the room. 

David was relieved when he realized his kick failed to hit Olivia. He did not want to hurt anyone. Sometimes, he could not control himself when his anger came up. 

David frowned and asked, “What do you want?” 

Olivia raised her eyes and looked at David coldly, asking, “Do you think you are good?” 

David thought, “Mocking me, huh?” He found it funny. However, he did not buy this and asked, “What? Are you going to teach me a lesson?” 

David thought, “I know I’m wrong to beat people with fists and kicks, but the truth is, I’m an excellent fighter. Others can’t hurt me. If I hurt someone, the Taylor family will handle it for me. 

“Yeah. I like hitting people. So what?” 

It was Olivia’s first time to see such an arrogant bully who was proud of what he did. 

Olivia lowered her head and clenched her fist. She looked at it. Then she
