Chapter 9 

“The gentle breeze brings a sweet fragrance. My darling Livy smells so good.” 

The man was burying his nose in Olivia’s neck, taking a soft sniff. 

Everyone called her Olivia, except for him, who called her Livy. 

He said, “Olivia is everyone’s Olivia, but Livy is only mine.” 

At the end of his sentence, the man forcefully pushed down his hip as if he intended to pin Olivia to the bed. 

Olivia felt like a fire burning inside her, making her forehead sweaty. She struggled to open her eyes, wanting to see the face of the person over her, but there seemed to be a mist clouding her vision, preventing her from seeing clearly no matter how hard she tried. 

She could only go up and down, following the man’s actions. 

When Olivia woke up, it was already 9 o’clock in the morning. 

She let out a sigh and massaged her forehead, bewildered as to why she would have such a dream. “Could it possibly be the hormone’s fault? However, I have no special feelings toward any men. 

“Since I can’t figure it out, I will just put it aside for now. 

“There are many things to do today. The dinner party is scheduled for today. Although it starts in the evening, preparations should be made. during the day,” she said inwardly. 

The life assistant sent to her by Amelia had already arranged a series of procedures. 

After having breakfast, Olivia would do the whole body’s skin care. Additionally, she needed to do her hair. The clothes had already been delivered, and she needed to try them on to see if they fit. If there were any areas that were not suitable, necessary adjustments had to be made as soon as possible. 

After finishing breakfast, Olivia walked toward the door. Her assistant, Abigail Murphy, had already pulled the car out, saying, “Ms. Taylor, the appointment is scheduled at 10 o’clock, and time is running short.” 

Previously, Abigail worked at the Taylor Group. Due to her efficiency and exceptional abilities, she was chosen by Amelia to become the personal life assistant.

“Just call me by my name.” Olivia got in the car. 

Abigail readily complied. “Alright, Olivia. We’re a bit short on time. I need to drive a bit faster. Please make sure you’re seated securely.” 

Olivia nodded and leaned back against the chair, looking out the window. After approximately 10 minutes of driving, they passed by an intersection called Summon Street. Olivia pointed at the sign by the roadside and asked, “Aren’t we going to Summon Street? We can’t go through here.” Upon hearing this, Abigail glanced at the sign and realized she had taken the wrong turn. 

“Oh no, this is bad.” Abigail wanted to turn around, but there was no sign indicating where to turn ahead. 

Olivia glanced at her and said, “No need to turn around. Turn left at the second intersection ahead, go straight for 300 yards, turn right, and you will reach Lantes Street. It leads to the beauty salon.” 

Following Olivia’s direction, Abigail indeed arrived at Lantes Street. 

She breathed a sigh of relief, feeling in the mood to talk to Olivia. “Olivia, you know this area well? Do you come here often?” 

“No.” Olivia shook her head. “I haven’t been here before.” 

“How come you are so familiar with this route?” asked Abigail in surprise. She hadn’t seen Olivia using a navigation app on her phone, yet Olivia seemed to know the route so well as if she had passed it countless times. before. 

“Oh,” said Olivia with a calm tone. “I looked at the map and knew which roads were passable before we left.” 

Abigail was left dumbfounded. 

“Has she memorized the map? Did she just glance at it and memorize it? 

“I am very familiar with this route and often go to this salon, but I didn’t know that there was another way to get there. But Olivia only glanced at the map and became very familiar with this place. 

“She is a genius!” said Abigail inwardly. 

For a moment, Abigail was rendered speechless, as she couldn’t ascertain whether Olivia was lying or genuinely possessed an extraordinary ability to memorize everything with just a glance.

“With this?” She pointed to the long, ice–blue formal dress and the three–inch high heels on her feet. 

This outfit was indeed inconvenient for taking the subway. Abigail’s face turned red as she said, “Then, I’ll take a shortcut to get you back as quickly as possible.” 

During the conversation, she pressed the accelerator and collided with a white car in front of her. 

“Oh no!” 

Abigail closed her eyes and turned around immediately, saying, “Olivia, take the subway back. I will handle this here.” 

Olivia carefully examined Abigail and found her to be quite interesting. “Are you staying?” 

Abigail nodded and said, “I need to handle this here. I have to wait for the insurance company’s representative to arrive and determine the responsibility with the traffic police.” 

The reason seemed to be quite convincing. 

However, Olivia did not respond. She simply lifted her gaze and glanced at Abigail casually./

Despite being caught off guard, Abigail responded promptly, explaining, “Your clothes were all customized in Moriland, and this is the only one prepared for you.” 

“The only one?” said Olivia inwardly. 

Olivia almost giggled. She looked up at Abigail with serious and beautiful eyes and said with a tone full of hidden meaning, “You are certainly a qualified assistant.” 

After finishing speaking, she opened the door and got out of the car. Meanwhile, Daniel was leaning against the back seat, reading documents inside a luxury car not far away in the rear. 

Andrew was sitting in the child seat next to him, swinging his two white and tender legs, confidently commanding the driver, “Mr. Ward, play a song.” 

Daniel’s thoughts were pulled away from the documents, and he casually glanced at Andrew. 

Andrew was very sensitive and perceptive, instantly noticing his father’s attitude. He felt that his father was despising him. 

“I’m working,” Daniel said as he raised the documents in his hand. When he heard these words, Andrew’s long and beautiful eyes narrowed. He turned his head to look at Daniel carefully and spoke with a firm and assertive tone, “If you can work, why can’t I listen to music?”
