Chapter 21 

Lilac felt her heart was beating against her ears when she followed the warrior to the main hall. She knew this warrior, though they were not close, but she could feel how he tried to be sympathized with her. 

“Lilac, I only want to give you a gentle reminder,” the warrior said in small voice. “Aiden is very furious with you and he wanted to banish you from the pack, so you better choose your words carefully when you face him,” he said before he opened the door to the main hall. 

“Thank you, Mille, Iris said in gentle tone, grateful he told her about this, though Hunter had reminded her earlier about what Aiden tried to do, but knowing this warrior cared for her enough to tell her, warmed her heart slightly. 

They were not as careless as she thought. 

“Good luck,” the warrior named Mille said and Lilac gave him a small smile before she stepped into the main hall and immediately she could feel the tension that rose in the air. 

People were staring at her, at the very least, there were a dozen of them, including all the other five alpha and luna from different pack, aside from alpha James and Luna Jasmine. 

And of course, Aiden was there with Ruby at the other side of the room, the pregnant woman was so quiet, as she watched Lilac walked across the room. 

“I want her to be banished from the pack!” Aiden roared once Lilac was standing next to him, he looked at her furiously, as if she had murdered his family. This was the man, who had stolen her first k*ss under the moonlight, while telling her how much he loved her and how he couldn’t live without her, but right now, he wanted to throw her out of the pack and making her a rogue. 

How could there was someone like him? He changed so much in the span of a year and now Lilac was not sure this was the same man, who had exchanged letter with her in the past year, writing about how much he missed her and how the battle was way easier than his inner battle to meet with her. 

What a bullshit he was spewing.. 

“She has tarnished our pack’s name!” Aiden roared again when he didn’t get the reaction he wanted. He thought, Lilac would fall to her knees and cry, begging him not to throw her out of the pack, but the lack of reaction from her only made Aiden furious even more. 

“How can I tarnish our pack’s name?” Lilac asked this time, her voice was so soft and her tone was even, as if she didn’t have any emotions regarding this matter before her eyes. 

“You still ask?!” Aiden was so mad, his eyes flashed with rage, as if he was going to kill someone at this point. “You have slept with the alpha lycan!” He couldn’t stop himself, he showed Lilac how much he was disgusted by her 

Hearing that, all the alphas and the lunas inside the room frowned, because they felt it was a little bit unfair for Alden to say something like that when the woman, who was not his mate, was carrying his own child. 

However, just like how the norm had been formed that a woman would have the disadvantage in this case, when Aiden had made a grief mistake by impregnant another woman, they couldn’t raise their complain because he was the future alpha and they could only feel bad for Lilac. 

Chapter 21 

However, if the situation was reversed, Lilac would have been condemned for having any intimacy with some other man that was not her mate, the hypocrisy was very thick in this case. 

Just like what happened right now, though they felt it was unfair for Aiden to talk about Lilac’s affair in the public like this and purposefully humiliated her, but none of them stood up for Lilac, because they didn’t want to have a beef with the future leader of the pack. 

Lilac was no one, they wouldn’t meet her again once she stepped down from her status as Aiden’s mate, but Aiden was different, he would be the future alpha of the pack once his father retired. 

Therefore, they could only watch when Aiden ashamed Lilac for what she had done. 

“I want her to be banished from the pack. She has tarnished this pack’s good name!” Aiden said with vigor, as he didn’t look ashamed at all for what he was doing right now. 

On the other hand, luna Jasmine and alpha James looked like they were not completely on their child’s side. 

This time, it was alpha James, who shifted his attention at Lilac. The woman looked so calm and unperturbed by the awful accusation from Aiden and somehow, luna Jasmine felt so proud of her. 

After all, it was her, who had taught Lilac to be like this. Now, she had done a great job to keep her 

composure. 

“Is what Aiden said true?” alpha James asked Lilac patiently. He liked this child and thought of her as his own daughter, especially after a year they were together. He felt like she was a daughter that he never had, not to mention how well behaved Lilac was. 

And right now, all Lilac needed to do was to deny it and alpha James would take care of the rest. He knew Aiden was only being impulsive right now and he would deal with him later. 

But, who would have thought that Lilac would admit it. 

“Yes, I slept in the mansion, where the lycan have been staying.” Lilac said calmly and a wave of shock rippled in the air, as the gasping sound echoed throughout the wall. “I was drunk and the only thing I remember was when luna Jasmine took me to one of the empty rooms.”
