Suddenly, something...shifted. The movement was too sudden for my enfeebled brain to comprehend. I felt Isabelle's arms let go of my weakened body. Unable to support me, my legs gave out from under me and I felt myself plummet down, my view now being nothing but the floors. I tried to look up to register the scene but my eyesight was blurring worse by the second. In the background I saw Damon's arms extending over an angry Isabelle and Seth, holding them back.
