Chapter 24

Where was she?

Maybe a little busy.

I dismissed the thought and climbed down the airplane. I hugged Marinda, kissed the baby's cheeks and was now going to meet Mrs. Grace.

"Hi darling how are you?" she said engulfing me in her motherly hug.

I hugged her back and smiled.

" By the way, do you know where my mom is?" I asked her.

"Oh that's an interesting story now, I'll tell you on the way inside the house."

So we started walking to the pack house as Mrs Grace told me the story.

"So while you were gone, your mom came here because she wanted to learn how to train, in order to protect herself. So she started taking training lessons here."

Okay.

"And then there was this senior warrior who also came to workout at the same time. By luck, your mother was his second chance mate and now he has taken her to Miami to propose her."

Wait what?

"Don't worry dear she will be present on the ceremony today." she smiled.

"What ceremony?" I asked her.

"Oh don't you know dear?, it's the ceremony to name Marinda's child and officially make him a pack member."

Now about my mom. First of all I couldn't believe that my mom had gone to Miami with a guy, because apparently she had gotten a guy phobia since my dad left her. But on the other hand I was extremely happy that she was going to start a fresh life.

After dad left us, we only had each other and now when I had moved out, she was extremely alone, so I was happy that she had someone who would protect her.

"Was mom okay with the whole mate thing?" I ask Mrs Grace.

"First she was a little bit upset, but then Raymond knows how to convince her."

"Raymond?" I asked.

"He is a warrior." she replied.

Oh.

We soon went into the pack house and the homie smell of pasta hit me.

Oh how I missed this!

Mrs Grace told us to freshen up a little bit and then meet her for lunch. So I went inside my room, taking a hot bath which soothed my muscles.

For the outfit I decided to keep it simple with black shirt and check bell bottoms, contrasted with my favorite black flats.

I tied my hair into a pony and was ready.

Dorian was taking a bath, so I decided to go down for lunch but then suddenly the door of the bathroom opened, revealing the heavenly figure only in his towel which was hanging low on his hips.

Oh my God! Was he a Greek God or something?

Not wanting him to be a distraction, I turned towards the door to leave but then suddenly strong arms wrapped around my waist.

I turned around to face my Greek God, his hands moved to my cheeks, gently caressing them as water droplets from his wet hair fell on my face.

"You are driving me crazy mio amour." he whispered in that husky voice of him.

And then his lips moulded on to mine, with one hand on my butt and one on my waist.

His mouth took possession in my mouth, kissing me fully, while I ran my hands through his wet hair, moaning.

After he was fully satisfied, we both broke up panting.

"How was it?" he whispered, clearly proud of himself.

I bought my lips close to his ear, as he watched me in clear amusement.

"I'm hungry." I whispered and then ran out of the door.

After eating the amazing pasta, we were currently dressing up for the ceremony and by we, I mean me, Marinda and Mrs Grace.

I had chosen an ice blue dress from Versace. It was dyed in different shades of pastel blue with crystals sprayed all over it.

I decided to keep my hair straight and for the makeup I went for ice blue eye shadow contrasted with some white glitter. My lips were the baby pink.

To be honest, I loved my look and seriously I felt like Elsa.

We were soon ready and I made my way to the hall, hand in hand with the love of my life.

The doors opened and we stepped inside, everyone bowing to us and then suddenly I saw someone running towards me.

My beautiful momma.

She came running like a child and engulfed me in a hug.

"Oh honey, how I missed you!" she said breaking the hug.

I noticed how fresh she looked, how her face was clear of all the pimples that popped up from anxiety and also that she was wearing makeup after like ten years.

"Do you know that a warrior is my..." she said.

"Yeah, yeah I know" I said smiling.

And then suddenly a man appeared from her side, pecking her on the lips.

He had reddish brown hair, with hazel eyes and a fair skin. To be honest he was a handsome man.

"Nice to meet you Luna, Im Raymond." he said bowing his head.

"Oh no no, no need to call me Luna. I'm Sydney." I smiled.

"So did my mom agree?" I asked him.

"Yeah and now we are getting married the next month." he told me.

"Can't wait." I smiled.

I was extremely happy for her. After I had told her about John, she was totally heart broken. She didnt believe that she was betrayed in her life once again. So I really hoped Raymnond gave her the love she deserved.

"Sydney we are getting late for the ceremony." Dorian told me.

"Oh yeah." I said and then followed him to the stage where Alyan, Marinda and the baby were waiting.

"Good evening everyone."Dorian greeted, his voice booming around the hall making everyone dead silent.

" We are here to announce the birth of our future beta. " he commanded and everyone clapped.

After that he stepped aside and Alyan, Marinda and the baby came.

" Upon the approval of our Alpha, we have decided to name the baby, Alexander in the memory of our late late King Alexander and who fought hard to win this land." Alyan cheered.

The whole pack clapped and cheered.

After that Marinda came and handed me the baby.

" I want you to hold him, when he is being made the pack member. " She told me.

" What? Are you sure? " I asked her and she gave me a reassuring smile.

After that Dorian cut his flesh and dropped his blood into the bowl, while I did the same to the baby's flesh and as soon as his blood dropped into the bowl, the doors of the hall opened.

And stepped in Ryker, with his army.

His eyes met mine.

"Destroy!" he commanded.

And then the war started.
