A Girl’s Diary novel Chapter 54

The feeling of coarse rope on my wrists was all I could focus on so I won't lose grip on reality. My senses were so heightened because of my blocked vision.

Let this be a dream... please please... be a dream...

Wake up Elena, God dammit!! I wanted to scream but then I felt something over my lips seeking them shut.

Frustration. Hopelessness. Panic.

Breath, I told myself over and over. It would be all over...

We got over this before, remember?

Yes! But back then Tommy was with us. He wouldn't let me go twice. My panic was rising again. I needed to calm down.

Footsteps, that was all I heard. Getting closer then closer only to stop. I felt like dying when I felt a hand on my shoulder giving me chills all over my body.

"Look who's back!" I knew the voice... there was no running now.

I was doomed.
