Don't panic, don't panic, do not panic as if that will be of any use... deep breaths Elena, deep breaths. 

"Anyone wants to tell me what the heck is going on before I start panicking?" 

"Umm..." Benjamin trailed. 

"Never mind, too late!" I squealed through my panic. I've never been one to be scared of darkness or anything for that matter. But after... I couldn't even bring myself to remember without breaking out in tears. 

"Hey, everything is gonna be alright. You look cute when you're scared." Xander tried to soothe me. He engulfed me in a bear hug that I found pretty much comforting, so I closed my eyes. If I can't see it, I can pretend it's not there. 

"Leave it to you to flirt in a situation like this." I chuckled lightly. 

Aurora called us all out saying there's an issue in the electric circuits, as we were heading to the doors, I felt something or someone brushing by me to go inside. What the heck! Wait a second! What if there was actually someone sneaking in! 

What if he found out my identity! Instincts took over without much of a thought. Someone was calling over me but it was all a blur in the state of my racing heart. I found myself running back to collect my stuff before anyone could reach it. Just when I was there, the door closed behind me the way it always did in horror movies. People really didn't learn... Even after watching all these movies, I did something that stupid! The lights began to illuminate outside the room again. 

What did I get myself into? 

I was losing my mind right now. I was about to reach out for my bag to look for my phone so it could give me a sense of light inside here, or better yet a chance to call someone. Maybe I should carry a pocket knife with me from now on... 

"Aren't you tired of hiding?" A low voice said, making my heart race like crazy. 

"Who's that?" I let out a breath I didn't know I was keeping. I moved around the room trying to find anything to no avail. 

"Don't worry about your bag. It has nothing, I already searched it." The voice said. 

"What!" I could feel blood rushing to my head making my panic Palpable. 

"How about we make a deal?" I could feel him get closer and I close my eyes, even though I can't see anything anyway.
